Crane Heights Submitted To FAA For 57

Aug 27, 2023

The proposed heights of two tower cranes at the construction site for the 57-story Casa Bella by B&B Italia condo tower have been submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The tower crane height filings were submitted to the FAA on August 23.

According to the filings, crane 1 is proposed to rise to a height of 671 feet above ground, or 674 feet above sea level.

Crane 2 is proposed to rise to a height of 711 feet above ground, or 714 feet above sea level.

The estimated construction schedule runs for 19 months.

Earlier this month, a permit was issued for temporary toilets at the site

In July, Miami’s Building Department issued a site & soil permit to contractor Coastal Construction.

A permit for vertical construction of the tower is still in review.

Demolition of an older 3-story office building at the site recently wrapped up.

Casa Bella will include 312 condo units.

Related Group and Alta Developers are the developers.

Gorgeous

ultra wide sidewalks would be perfect here as the pedestrian traffic continues to grow…

Another beaut by Arquitectonica!

Another what? It was recycled from an almost ten-year-old design. Same with their Baccarat blobs.

Lol

They still haven’t shown the rear of this tower

I assume it will look like the side facing Biscayne Blvd.

Have you seen Related’s buildings in Edgewater?

probably going to have units all around it and now those fire escape lights.

Im thinking its going its going to look like the mess in the Paraiso towers in edgewater. Where it looks like a cheap resort with shared balconies/hallways

It will look like the back of 888 Biscayne. The units face East leaving the emergency exits and trash shoots etc west facing. It’ll be attractive from one side only. The part the residents don’t see out of will be a “them” problem. It’s surprising they still allow this.

Wonder if they’re going to build the parking for the other three towers now

What other 3 towers?

*two

This is a 3-tower development. This is just the first tower.

Link?

This used to be a 2 tower project back in the day but never 3. You may be thinking of the one in Brickell.

You are incorrect, and no I am not thinking about Baccarat. This is planned as a 3-tower development and always has been.

Wow. Loving all 3 together. I hope that’s still the plan!!

That was Auberge. This is only one tower

very nice, thanks!

awesome beauty

So they will have the same statue of Ferrè Park? Hopefully it will be lit at night, which I wish they did for the one in park too.

Museum Park

It’s called Ferrè Park now and for how much I love the older name, this is the current name so that is what I’ll use.

Every building in miami looks the same.

they do, but this looks pretty different

I believe this was inspired by the beauty of the Park West neighborhood.

Don’t know why growing neighborhoods are so triggering to you.

The Park West folks are afraid that if other areas grow park west will stall. We can all understand but they are hurting their own chances, because they depend on other areas doing well to do well, we all do well when we lift each other up.

It’s full of cranes. I think they’re good.

Most Park West towers you’re thinking of weren’t off the ground when this design was created (see Auberge above).

I got my throat slashed in Park West.
